Why Golf is a Fun Sport to Play

Golf is very easy to learn and fun to play. All you need is to give it a shot and try it out for your self. The one thing about golf that I have always liked is the fact that when you go to a driving range for the first time you will most likely miss the ball. I will admit to you that when I first tried out golf, I missed the ball completely, but instantly I was hooked. The thing that had me hooked was the fact that it seems like the most easiest thing to do is swing the club and send the ball flying, but without proper technique and practice you will get discouraged.

This blog is designed to help you learn tips and proper techniques to be a good golfer.  There will also be blogs on some of the rules that you must follow to play a round of golf. The rules are designed to teach you integrity and to teach you fair play. Also, rules help you have proper etiquette on the golf course. There is behavior that is not acceptable on a golf course. I have seen some bad behaviors out there when I have played. This blog hopefully be beneficial for you and friends to learn how to play the game. Don’t forget you can always find golf pros at courses to learn from.  You can also learn from a friend who plays as well.  However long you play golf, you can always learn something new that you did not know and that is the greatest thing about this game. Plus, on a nice day it is fun to just get out there and enjoy the great scenery the golf course has to offer.

I have traveled to some different courses, but some of the best ones I found were in the state of Kansas. Here is a Google map to show you some of the golf courses that are in Kansas. The websites of the courses can give you more information of how much it would cost to play at them or if you would just like to know events that they are hosting. There are some courses that require memberships, so make sure you check on that before you go to a course.
